Hey Human! is a nonprofit artists-in-residence program that provides time and space for inventors, artists and researchers to create, experiment, and cultivate new directions in their practise.
A shared journey with the Domestic Data Streamers family to redefine the meaning behind the power of data using all kinds of arts.

We offer a 60 days stay in Barcelona providing:
– An accommodation shared with three other artists.
– A studio and workshop facilities from DDS.
– A session a week with one of DDS research team members.
– A small event will be held to present each residency result.
– Flights from the country of origin. (Fee depends on the distance: €350 for distances below 5.000 km. €700 for distances from 5.000 km. Participating artists are responsible for booking their own travel. 50% will be paid before the start of the residency, the remaining 50% will be paid after the residency, upon submission of relevant documents.)
– We will cover 25€/day in life expenses per artist.

For this call we encourage people working specifically in digital assets without physical production requirement. This residency is for visual artists, musicians, creative technologists, curators, researchers, cooks, human rights lawyers, and other creative professionals with an exhibition/publication record who want to work, think, write, or play with data as raw material and have an idea for how to do it.
