Gardening Residencies have a specific program, they are not designed for artists although they are obviously welcome, but for all those people with an interest in green, that green that is critical lymph, beauty, cyclical rhythms, entangled thought, manual work. A garden between agriculture, aesthetics and thought, art and nature. One part of the program is a theoretical approach and another is manual and daily work in our garden and orchard.

Aplication is OPEN all the year from 15th SEPTEMBER – 10th JULY. (NOT AVAILABLE DURING JULY + AUGUST). In this residency each season has its own needs and daily works.

RESOURCES PROVIDED BY PACA: 1. Shared STUDIO You can also use the studio during your free time. In the studio you find: Internet Connection, HP print and scanner, Tascam digital recorder and microphones, Arteina T600 TS press (Characteristics: 5mm 600x1000mm plate. Rocker bearings. Pressure clamp system) proofing press for letterpress printing with antique wood and metal types, painting and generic tools , sink, work desk, video-projector, tripod, small dark room for analogical photography (photographic enlarger, no chemicals provided). If you like, you can have your own small lot for practicing and free experimentation in confusing boundaries between art, nature, agriculture, gardening…always in respect of living beings. HOUSING IN PRIVATE & INDEPENDENT HOUSE : Private room, kitchen and open space living room, bathrooms and terrace + shared OUTDOOR spaces (your real studio and working space): garden and land (1Ha) with apple orchard and vegetable garden + library available. 3. LEARNING PROGRAM: The program, in its practical part, will be adapted to the needs of each season of the year and the duration of each residence. Theoretical meetings may be reduced in case of short residencies of only one week. 4. COMMUNICATION/Networking: Communication and dissemination of the project in PACA website and social networks. Interaction with local agents, vising gardens and gardeners, artist related with our topics, national and international networks.
