Home Based Program

The Home Based Program residency invites artists to work on their research and artistic production projects in the studios of Casa R.A.R.O. throughout the course of the entire residency. With this, residents will be able to focus completely on the development of their projects, with the conceptual and technical follow-up of the R.A.R.O team, and sharing space with local artists who are permanent residents at Casa R.A.R.O.

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
Casa R.A.R.O. offers a multidisciplinary space where artists can work in a wide variety of techniques form painting, drawing and collage to performance and video art.

Studio / Workspace
Casa R.A.R.O. is a space for artistic production, research and diffusion of more than 300 m2 located in the heart of the city of Barcelona. This initiative complements the itinerant nature that has characterized us for the last 4 years, and becomes the central space where projects, residencies, exhibitions and other artistic proposals that shape the universe of R.A.R.O. Barcelona converge.The space is divided into three main sections: Production, Research, Exhibition.
